Summary
We cannot configure the date format for the date picker "//" shortcut in Confluence tables. No matter how Confluence is configured to match a localized date format, the date picker will not change from the DD MM YYYY format.
Environment
Confluence 6.7.0, 6.7.1, 6.7.2
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to cog icon
- Go to General Configuration and click Edit
- Change the Date Format and choose the format "MMM dd, yyyy"
- Go and add a date to a table using the "//" date picker macro
- See that the format of the date did not change to match Confluence's localized date format configuration
Expected Results
We expect the date format to match the localized date format configured in Confluence under the cog icon > General Configuration > Edit > Date Format (Example of configuration: MMM dd, yyyy and have the macro show that format as well)
Actual Results
The "//" date picker macro will not change formats no matter the date format configured for Confluence.
Notes
This date will still reflect the correct date, but not the format.
