    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

The ability to put Confluence in read-only mode is currently being developed for Data Center customers (see CONFSERVER-6390). This feature will also be very useful for customers who do not have Data Center instances, for all of the same reasons.

      Atlassian Update - September 2018

Thanks for your interest in this issue.

While this suggestion has gathered significant interest, we currently have no plans to implement it for the Server offering. It is currently available in the Data Center (self hosted) offering.

This suggestion will be reviewed in about 12 months time, at which point we’ll consider whether we need to alter its status.

      Cheers,

Adam Barnes - Confluence Product Manager
