Upgrade Confluence embedded Crowd to version 2.12 or latest

      Confluence is currently running with embedded Crowd 2.10.2:

      $ git show confluence-project-6.4.3:pom.xml | grep '<crowd.version>'
        <crowd.version>2.10.2</crowd.version>

      In order to avoid issues like CONFSERVER-54786, it would be interesting to upgrade Confluence to use embedded Crowd 2.12.x or the latest version. I am sure that the application would also benefit of new features released in the more recent versions of Crowd as well.
