      Hi all,

Thanks for all of your votes and comments on this suggestion.

Unfortunately, this suggestion isn't currently on our roadmap. We do though understand the value in being able to export Team Calendar data for an entire instance, and and will consider this suggestion at a later date.

For those of you who aren’t aware, in our Team Calendars 5.5 and 6.0 releases we brought a range of new improvements, including a fresh new look and feel, better event frequency options, and CalDAV – the ability to use Team Calendars in your favourite calendar app. For more information on these improvements, see: 5.5 release notes, and 6.0 release notes.

      Best wishes,
Jenny | Confluence Server Product Manager

As of now, Confluence Team Calendar does not have a feature to allow Confluence administrators to export the whole Calendar data and import it into another Confluence instance.

When Confluence administrators would like to combine two team calendar into calendar, having this feature will definitely make their life a lot easier.

[CONFSERVER-49232] Export and Import The Whole Calendar Data in Confluence Instance

Our confluence instance was just migrated and I had no idea Calendar export/ import is not a thing!  Very painful to manually add events one-by-one - thousands of events for just one team, and there are hundreds of teams!

            Dear Atlassian,

Can you consider adding this feature already?

We have encountered tons of trouble having to manually export and import the calendars once we do XML migration, which is our day-to-day work. Our varied clients having multiple Spaces with 8+ calendars is a common scenario now, which makes manual migration of calendar contents so daunting and frustrating. Please can you develop at least a workaround or tool for us to proceed with?

Thank you for boosting up the Atlassian business!

            Hello all,

Kindly add this feature to your early release because there is lot of dependence about this feature.

            From whole confluence instance perspective:

From my testing, it does actually export everything - looking at the exported xml for the whole confluence instance.. The problem lies in the import.. The import ignores all the customized events, and just throws everything into the defaults..

            From just the Calendar:

Yes i think it should have the export/import feature (with customized events).

This is a problem. I'm migrating from server to cloud and I need to bring the Team Calendars data with. The migration requires a Jira upgrade, so I have to migrate to a new server, do the upgrade, then push to the cloud. You'd think the Team Calendars data would come with the XML export.

Considering that Team Calendars is quite expensive, for the functionality it provides, I think handling of export / import is a must-have feature.

From what I read here there is no easy workaround, which does not cause data loss.

Exporting to iCal all the calendars one by one is neither easy, nor is it lossless.
