Steps to reproduce:
- In Confluence 5.5.3 create a space.
- Create a page inside of this space, with a Team calendars macro that has at least one event.
- Export the space.
- In a brand new Confluence 5.5.3 import this space.
- You'll see that the events will not show up there.

At the moment Team Calendars sits outside spaces. You can link a calendar to a space but all that does is improve search.
I think the real solution to the problem is to change Team Calendars so that Calendars by default "sit in spaces". You'd still want the ability to create Calendars that don't but the vast majority of Calendars should sit in spaces. I'm going to close this and raise another issue for this.
