Description
Summary
After upgrading to Confluence 6.0.x, whenever a user reaches the login page, a record will be written to the logs:
WARN [http-nio-8602-exec-2] [confluence.impl.vcache.SynchronousExternalCache] lambda$get$7 Failed to read entry from cache 'com.atlassian.confluence.security.login.DefaultLoginManager': Failed due to UNCLASSIFIED_FAILURE -- referer: http://localhost:8602/conf/display/xx/xx | url: /conf/login.action | traceId: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx | userName: anonymous | action: login
This is new to Confluence 6.0, as the message did not appear in previous versions. I have tested locally with the listed versions and no connection to LDAP. I still see the same error message above.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a new instance of Confluence 6.0.x
- Start the instance
- Tail the atlassian-confluence.log file
- When the login screen appears, refresh the page
Expected Results
Nothing written to the logs
Actual Results
WARN message is written to logs referencing 'anonymous' user
Workaround
- No known workaround
