JIRA issues can be created directly by highlighting a text on a Confluence page. Furthermore, multiple issues can be created from highlighted text in a table.
Scenario
Sometimes, while creating multiple issues through Conlufence the issues are not added into the table. On JIRA side, issues were created successfully without any error. The following error message will occurs:
xxx issues has been created, but there are problems in adding them to the page. You can manually add them later using JIRA macro.
Steps to reproduce
Scenario 1:
Consider the following steps to reproduce the issue:
- On a Product Requirements page
- Add new rows to "Requirements" page and enter a value on 'Title' column
- Highlight the title of one of the rows
- Click on 'Create Issue'
- Click on 'Create multiple issues from table'
- Click on 'Create'
The issue is intermittent and most of the times it works.
Expected result
It is expected that the JIRA issues are successfully created on JIRA side and added correctly to the table.
Scenario 2:
There is another scenario when same error appears but steps are different as follows:
- On the page have some line which has @mention user in it. For example "This is test line @admin"
- Highlight the line "This is test line @admin".
- Click on 'Create Issue'
- Issue will not created in Confluence page and same message might appear.

[CONFSERVER-41167] Sometimes JIRA issues are not added to Confluence page
We are on
Jira 8.13 and Confluence 7.13..
Affecting 100s of users here.. 
When are you planning for the fix.. :/
I had a user report this behavior and I did some digging. When a failure occurred, "Could not locate highlight text in storage format" was appearing in the Confluence error logs which made me think success or failure might be dependent on what was being selected by the end user.
Using the same document that my end user was struggling with, I found that if I only selected a couple of words in the table (and not select a leading or trailing space), Confluence could create the tickets from the table and link each of them back successfully.
Hopefully that solution will work for others.

It's intermittent for us, very costly from a clean-up perspecitve.
Most of the time this does not work. This is becoming difficult to show integrated capability of the Jira and Confluence

Our present workaroud is to create 1. The problem is happened，some times.
We recently upgraded to Jira 7.13.12. Our Confluence is at 6.13.4. I tested this again. It works fine in Chrome and IE11, but it failed in Edge browser.

Our present workaroud is to create 2. Then create the remainder. For some reason
the second time we do the task it creates multiple without issue, and works as expected.
Can you at least change the bug priority to High due to the impact it has on the large amount of users?
