      Problem

Confluence Linux installer creates most of the directories and files with the right permission, but not all of them.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Create a new installation (using the root user), point it to directories that do not yet exist, let the installer create them (both for <CONFLUENCE-INSTALL> and <CONFLUENCE-HOME>
        • For example specify: /opttest/atlassian/confluence and /vartest/atlassian/application-data/confluence
      2. After finishing the installation, check the ownership and notice that not all the created directories were assigned the right ones, some remained under the root user
The following commands should reveal the affected files
      • ls -ltrRh /opttest/|grep root
      • ls -ltrRh /vartest/|grep root
