      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Confluence is quite sensible to permissions over it's <Confluence HOME> and <Confluence Install> directory specially when you try to install the application with the root user.

      Would it be possible to have a checker during the initial setup that will let the user know that his does not have the proper permission and installing confluence with a root account (we recommend non root account).
