Resizing the sidebar cause's the Name column to disappear (Attachments)

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Open Any browser
      2. Add an attachment to a Confluence page, save.
      3. Click on the — drop down and select Attachments (1)
      4. Resize the sidebar on the left, rightwards (or visit a page which has had the sidebar previously resized) or resize the browser window
      5. Name column will truncate the document title and eventually hide the Name all together.

      Expected Results
The table of attachments, should resize accordingly when adjusting the sidebar on the left. Name, Size, Creator, Creation Date etc should all adjust accordingly.

      Actual Results
The Name column is the only column that will resize in relation to width. The other columns remain fixed width.
This also affects devices with a smaller screen resolution.

      Affected browsers
Issue should affect all browsers, and have been confirmed on the following.

      1. IE
      2. Chrome
      3. Firefox

Wow, still not fixed? I'm only on 7.11.0 but still get this problem.

sebastien.colin.ext1455151942, yes, it is related to screen resolution. The broken CSS causing this bug is pasted in the description of CONF-22002, and I believe my comment here describes why it is broken and produces the results you see. Note that the resize behavior is dependent on the width of the browser window and not the width of the screen.

            Hi all,

I have noticed that depending on which screen my browser was displayed, the resise of the left pane has different effects on the filename column width :

Browser on main screen (where I see the Windows Taskbar) - Screen resolution : 1600x900 :
            1) Firefox Maximized : resize fails :

            2) Firefox NOT Maximized : resize OK (filenames wrap on)

            -Secondary screen - Screen resolution 1440x900 :
            3) resize always works

Is this related to screen resolution ?

It is the same behavior with Chrome (v55.0.2883.75) and Firefox (45.0.4)
            Confluence 5.10.8

            Thank you.

            Hi all

I accidentally put the flower-picture on this ticket (a drag-and-drop-thing while investigating this ticket) and I am not allowed to remove it.

Anyone who has permissions to remove it is free to do so. At least the flower is pretty...

            Best Regards,
            Maria Heij

Running Confluence 5.8.13 and see strange resizing of columns when adjusting the sidebar. Reviewed in Confluence ondemad (V6) and it is different, but still brocken (only the name column resizes).
