    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We have begun using tasks extensively in our Confluence instance (especially in meeting notes!).

When a user marks a task complete, all watchers receive a notification. This is good, and expected functionality.

The issue is that the notification sent (at least in 5.6.3) is rather unclear about which exact task was marked complete. The notification shows the entire list of tasks, with some very subtle formatting showing the one task marked complete.

When there are many tasks on a list, some checked and some unchecked, it can become very confusing to know which task has been marked complete.

For example, see the attached PDF - one of the tasks was marked complete, which one was it? (Hint, it's on page 3).

Ideally, the formatting in the notification email would be much more visible for task marked completed, or alternatively the tasks marked complete would be the only tasks showing (although I do like seeing the entire list as it motivates other users to close their tasks...!).
