Confluence defaults to HSQLDB when using evaluation license

      When using an evaluation license during installation of Confluence OnDemand 5.5-OD-28-010 or in the BTF version of Confluence 5.6.1 Download version, it bypasses the database type setup screen and only uses HSQLDB, skipping directly to the User Management screen.

      Reproduction steps:

      1. Download and install Confluence 5.5-OD-28-010 or Confluence 5.6.1
      2. Under Production Installation click Start Setup button
      3. Paste in a Confluence evaluation license and hit next

      Expected behavior

      User would be presented with the Choose a Database Configuration screen, and be able to setup whatever DB they want.

      Actual behavior

      Confluence setup immediately selects HSQLDB and the user is eventually presented with the Configure User Management screen, completely bypassing Choose a Database Configuration screen.

      Workaround

      • Use a non-evaluation license (ex. commercial license, developer license, etc) while installing 5.6.1
      • If you are evaluating Confluence and must use an evaluation license, install Confluence 5.5.6 with an evaluation license (this will allow you to choose an external database), then upgrade to 5.6.1

            Unfortunately Confluence 5.5-OD-28-010 doesn't seem to be available on the Confluence-OD downloads page any longer. Can someone please update this issue with a correct link or provide an actual workaround (the "workaround" provided above is not a workaround when you have to import Confluence-OD data as I can't import it straight into Confluence 5.6.3)?
