The Spaces List Macro lists all spaces, even if they are archived.

Looking at our documentation and the effect of archiving a space, you will read:

In the space directory, the archived space will no longer appear in the general space lists.

[CONFSERVER-33836] Spaces List Macro should not list archived spaces

Same here! Unusable Macro. Definitely a bug. Very frustrating, that this is 4 years old...

We use the space list on a dashbaoard and only want to show the "released" spaces. Users can see the archived spaces too, what is very confusing. The only chance I have is to create manual lists or write a customized macro. All this effort because a standard functionality was not implemented consequently. It's very frustrating and the fact that you categorize the issue as a feature, frustrates me even more.

I would suggest to not track this as suggestion but as a bug! It not works as "designed"

As a Confluence admin reorganizing our content, I am creating and archiving spaces, and moving pages. I wanted to use the Spaces List macro to assist our users after a re-organization by showing the remaining spaces and their intended purpsose. Showing Archived Spaces will just confuse everybody, so I am better off without the List Macro.

Workaround: Generate a manual list and let it go stale.
