according to CONF-8983 and CONF-11962 it should be possible to use excerpts with

• multiline
• markup
  inside

unfortunatly the children macro seems not to work very well for these cases.

even simple markups like (x) are stripped in a {children:excerpt=true} macro.

can you PLEASE

• check all excerpt includes are working the same (I'm not sure I knew / tested all macros aside children that has the excerpt option)
• even old include behaviours do not change anymore, I kept in mind, children behaved correctly .... somedays ..
