Mail display removes important blanks

      Viewing mail removes extra blanks between characters. This differs from the way other mail viewers work. This is important for proportional spaced text with formating.
      Example - changes 2 blanks into 1 blank incorrectly:

      • Confluence
        Systems installed . . . . . :
        Distributed to systems . . . :
      • Correct
        Systems installed . . . . . :
        Distributed to systems . . . :
