Summary

When printing a page holding a table with cell background colors, the colors do not appear.

They also do not appear when doing a Word export. (while they appear in PDF export)

After testing in Confluence 5.10 and newer, we found that colors do not appear in the PDF export either.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new Confluence page
2. Insert a table
3. Select a row or a column
4. Set a background color to those cells
5. Save the page
6. Export the page to PDF

Expected Results

The exported page should be include the background colors of the cells

Actual Results

The table in the PDF does not include the colors

Workaround

The current workaround is to install Scroll PDF Exporter for Confluence and use that to export the page. The background cell colors will be included in the PDF.
