Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a user in an external directory (NB: this may also occur with internal directory), with firstname lastname.
2. Sync it into Confluence
3. Go to the People Directory
4. Search for 'first'
   • Observe that no users are found
5. Search for 'first*'
   • Observe that the user is found
6. Search 'last'
   • Observe that despite the lack of wildcard, searching on part of the surname returns the results. It is only searching on part of the firstname that returns nothing.
