Within Confluence, we would like to display a particular directory within a Fisheye Repository, and allow users to download those files by clicking on them in confluence. The functionality we would like to see in a gadget, already exists in Fisheye.
Within Fisheye, pull down the Source menu and choose a repository. Select the Files tab. Browse to the desired directory. Click on the desired file.
Within this requested Confluence Macro I would configure it to identify the repository, as well as browse to and select the desired sub folder (or perhaps even copy/paste it in from Fisheye). That would become the "root" of the gadget (no browsing up, only from there down). The confluence users would see that gadget on a page and be able to download those files. The link for the file would simply contain the URL for the Fisheye server.
Ideally, this macro would also allow us to enable or disable search box, which would be restricted to this macros root path.
We would use this gadget/macro instead of attaching files directly to the Confluence page.
