I have been looking for a way to send attachments from confluence pages directly from confluence, instead of having to save the attachment locally and then attach them in a mail in e.g. outlook.
The SSLPost plugin seemed to do exactly what I needed, except for all the encryption administration.
In that plugin, you get a button on the page 'SSLPost', which makes a pop-up appear, in which you can fill in the email address to which the mail needs to be sent, select to only send the attachements, and can select/deselect the attachments to be sent/not to be sent.
The only downside on that plugin is that there is a lot of administration needed to have the email encrypted, and then sent to the right domain and stuff. Too much hassle, email can be sent in plain open text format.
