NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.
When creating a template page if you create an anchor and then try to link a text on the page with this anchor you get "The markup provided is not valid link markup" message.
Workaround
A workaround for it would be first creating it on a normal page, copy the content and paste on the template page, so the link will work then.

What's going wrong here? The issues which are linked to this one are fixed, or just ignored. We're using Confluence{color:#ff0000} 6.0{color}3! We are facing the same issue. When i create a new template, and add a few anchor links where i want to link back to with the ctrl+k shortcut (same as creating link) by creating a advanced link. I can't save the link, it gave the error message ''The markup provided is not valid link markup". But if we simply aren't allowed to include the # character, then an anchor link isn't possible. So, here from us the request and update to fix this issue. It affects at least 3 major versions, i should say.. use JIRA for proper bug management and fix it. We all would really appreciate. ] |
