Description
Steps to reproduce
- Create a code macro containing this:
line 1 line 2 line 3 line 4
- Save the page and see the macro display correctly (codemacro1.png)
- In Display mode, copy the contents of the code macro
- Edit the page
- Enter a new code block
- Paste the contents in to the code block, notice that the empty lines are missing (codemacro2.png)
- Save the page (without making any more changes), and notice that the empty lines are there as expected, despite not showing in Edit mode (codemacro3.png)
Workaround
You can simply save the content and the lines will appear correctly. The issue only exists in the Edit mode and does not affect the saved content.
Updates:
The same issue can be reproduced in IE9, but not reproduced on IE10 and IE11.
