    • Tested on:

      1. Package: Confluence 4.2.1 - Linux Installer (64 bit)
OS: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1
      2. atlassian-confluence-4.3.7-x64.bin
        OS: openSUSE 12.2 (64 bit)

    Description

The installer does not work correctly on SLES 11. It says Confluence is started and ready to go, but it fails to create the confluence user.
The setup_user.sh script tries to call useradd with the -K parameter. SLES 11 packs version 3.2.8 of useradd which does not support this.
We worked around the issue by creating the user manually before running the installer.
