NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Description

I often use the share page/blog functionality, but there seems to be no way to track and search the history of who these have been shared with.

      Workaround

Audit Log Events in Confluence allow administrators to view when pages and blog posts have been shared. This is only captured when end user activity for pages and blogs is set to 'Advanced' or 'Full' auditing coverage.

System admins, Confluence admins and space admins can also access audit logs for a specific space, if they have permission to administer that space.

For more information about how auditing works, see Auditing in Confluence.

            [CONFSERVER-22396] Track sharing page history

            Hi all,

Thank you for your votes and watches on this suggestion.

We are beginning greater research on the topic of __ security alert audit logs and would love to hear from you.

            We want to learn:

            • What information that you want to see in your audit logs that impacts your team’s security
            • How you want to be informed of potential security alerts that are captured in your logs

To assist with understanding your team’s needs in this area, we will be conducting research interviews.

            How these sessions will work:

            • Sessions are 1 hour and conducted over video conference, so you can participate from anywhere around the world.
            • After scheduling, you'll receive a calendar invite with a video conference link.
            • For the interview, we'll start with a general chat to get to know you and your company, then we will cover your auditing needs and potential solutions.
            • As a thank you for your time, you'll receive an e-gift card worth $100 USD within 5 days of completing your session.

If you're interested in taking part and to make sure you’re the right fit please complete the interview questionnaire. We can't guarantee that all interested parties will be selected but we appreciate your interest in helping us to improve your audit log alert experience.

there have been serveral instances where having this feature would have been extremely useful.  E.g., shared page with note added and recipient lost, deleted or did not receive the message - the contents of the note included when sharing may not be lost.

This feature has been requestet 10 years ago an still is ist under consideration. For the use of Confluence Wiki in context of compliance and quality management, this ist absolutely needed. I hope this will be recognised quickly.

Please do! I need to remember with who I shared a page. Currently I copy the link and share with Slack or mail, which is cumbersome. Thanks!
