Links to file system are wrong in Excel View

When using viewxls macro to show an excel sheet in a page, links to the file system will be wrong.

Supposing the excel file has an hiperlink to file://usr/atlassian/file

IE will change that to something like file://usr/at - truncated
FF will put Confluence URL before the address like https://myconfluence.com/display/SPACE/\\usr\at
