Move page notifications have incorrect user in the from address

      Sorry for not knowing the exact versions.
      I've noticed this on confxhtml notifications but assume it happens in 3.5 too as a result of the new "email pretends to come from a user even though it's actually from the system" feature.

      When the from address uses the "username (Confluence)" style and somebody moves a page, the mail comes from Anonymous (Confluence). The rest of the mail uses the correct user. I believe there used to be a similar bug from the "Moved By User" text.

            I think this issue should be fixed before releasing 3.5. The similar issue CONF-14090 led to lots of support tickets and duplicate bug reports.

            Yes, I've seen things like that before with notifications. Usually the fix is to get the modifying user out of the event instead of using the last updated user from the content.

            Hmm, it's not just the Anonymous user - I've got a notification that says the page was moved by Charles but the from name is Niraj. I get the feeling it's to do with who originally authored/last edited the page vs who actually moved it - I'll take a look into it.

            This is not quite a regression of CONF-14090 but it probably has a root-cause in common
