      Dear Confluence Support,

I discovered 3 software bugs inside the „edit in Word" function:

If the Confluence User opens a page in MS Word:

The html tag <p> is correctly presented within Word. But when the Document is stored back to Confluence, normal paragraphs are changed to simple line breaks <br>. You will see it if you take a look into the generated HTML code of Confluence.

Additionally, because Word starts up with a standard format template there is no space after a paragraph. The intelligent user would then insert 2 line breaks within Word and save the document back to the server. Confluence will then render the page with a new CSS style attribute

sample text sample text <BR class=atl-forced-newline>sample text

Additionally, soft line breaks "SHIFT+Enter" within Word are totally ignored from Confluence.

      Used Hardware:
      Confluence 3.0
      Internet Explorer 6
      Microsoft Word XP (2002)
