This has been derived from CONF-4955.
The above seems to have been fixed for registered groups only, not individual users who do not belong to any groups in Confluence, but have "Can Use" permission.
If a user is a member of a specific group, the anonymous permissions are being inherited correctly for viewing the space, search, dashboard, etc, but removing the user from all groups and assigning individual global "Can Use" permission, does not show content for the following:
- the space's content in a global search
- the space's content in a recently-updated macro, content-by-label macro or any other macro that is based on the search index.
