Viewxls macro cannnot handle files saved by NeoOffice in xlsx format

      Create a spreadsheet using NeoOffice, and save it as file type xlsx.

      Attach it to a Confluence page, and try to view it with the viewxls macro.

      No content is seen.

      Note that files saved by NeoOffice in xls format will work fine.

            This is not entirely fixed - spreadsheets containing dates are not shown in full by the viewfile macro.

            See the attached neotest3.xlsx for an example file saved by NeoOffice. The same file re-saved by Excel 2007 shows the date cells in Confluence with no problems.

            jonathan has been looking at the excel files that aren't working.

            We're trying to gather all of the ones that currently don't work and forward them to the component developer. Myself or Jonathan will try and get these to him by COB today.
