Searching for partial user name finds results but does not show them in the result set

      On extranet doing a People Directory search for "sam" comes back with:

      Found 1 result(s) for query sam.

      but does not actually list the user details. It lists nothing.

      Doing a search for "samuel" shows the results.

      Sorry guys, but I could not narrow down anything more specific as to why this is happening.
