One of our users tried to change the space logo and uploaded a large picture (pic A). Confluence was able to upload this and changed the logo to it. He then tried to change the logo to another picture (pic B) after seeing the size, he was able to browse to pic B to upload it, click on upload and Confluence reported everything being ok, however it hadn't actually uploaded the new picture, just changed the logo back to pic A.

We changed the space logo back to the default (clicking on 'Reset Logo to Default') and uploaded pic B again, Confluence reported everything as being ok but had again changed the logo to pic A.

We double checked that the new picture we were trying to load was definitely different (it was), basically whatever picture we tried to upload Confluence would just revert to the original picture uploaded.

We were able to change the logo by logging on to Confluence from another machine.

      Have you seen this before?

            Hi Issa,

I'm not sure about this problem in particular, but as you mentioned clearing the browser's cache fixed your problem, I believe you might be affected by CONF-5025, which is fixed in Confluence 2.10.

            Regards,
            Andrew Lynch

This bug occurs again in version 2.9.2.

Uploaded logos are correctly shown if the browser cache is clear.
