Currently Confluence embeds a missing image as a placeholder for movies and missing images. I assume it used to be in the product and just got accidentally deleted at some stage.

I'm about to fix it to link to /icons/attachments/image.gif which is a very small image which we use as the icon for image attachments in the attachments screen etc.

We need a better image. Preferably something reasonably large (eg 64px) that looks good at a wide variety of sizes and aspect ratios.

After discussion with Stephen, it would be much better to have different placeholder images for movies and for missing images. This will require a fix to renderer and will not fit into 3.0.
