External group with a comma or a slash does not work on page restriction

      Atlassian update - Jan 2020

       We have been working on a fix for this issue but have broken down into two key stages:

      1. page restrictions dialog only (this ticket) 
      2. space/global permissions pages (view here)

       
      Using the name "mygroup, more" or "mygroup\, more" for an external group as a 'page restriction' (view or edit) will not work.
