Standalone Confluence on Apache Tomcat/5.5.23 with JDK 1.5.0_15-b04 running on RHEL 2.4 (Linux 2.6.9-55.ELsmp)
Using Firefox 3.0.3. Open a new Confluence page or comment. Open a MS Word 2007 document. Copy all. Then Paste into the Rich Text editor in Confluence. You will find that garbled metadata appears in the saved page. The metadata contains lots of "Unknown macro:
{mso-level-number-format}" or similar comments. (Please see Screenshots.)
Then the Confluence 2.7.x server appears to lock up corresponding with approximately the same timing.
