Accented characters (all non-ascii?) cause link rendering to fail

      A link in wiki markup like -

      [Mots fléchés|http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mots_fléchés]
      • fails to render.

      If you remove the é characters from the link part it is fine. The characters in the alias aren't important.
