Often customers raise issues (performance, out of memory, failed daily backups, missing daily backups, backups silently failing, recently updated/indexing not working any more due to backups killing the scheduler threads) etc which are all due to daily backups being enabled.
Manual backups are far more robust, faster to backup/restore and do not have a large impact on performance, means we should be pushing customers to using them, before they actually raise a case.
On most production sites, customers will be using external databases where the DBA already backs up the database on a daily basis, making the switch easy.
For this reason we should include a warning message (similar to the HSQL message we display) to warn customers that they have daily backups enabled and should disable them in favour of manual backups.
