It would be nice to be able to edit a blogpost without changing the modification date. I figured checking the "minor edit" checkbox would do this, but it doesn't... the blogpost moves to the top of a list sorted by modification date.

I think I saw an issue open about this already a while ago, but I can't find it. If there is one and you know about it please give me the bug number / link so I can watch it.
