My organization has the need to update old blog posts often, but we usually don't want them to move to the top of our modification-date-sorted blogpost list which is on our main page.

We figured checking the "minor edit" checkbox would prevent Confluence from changing the modification date of the blogpost, but alas, it does not. The blogpost still moves to the top.

If we can't make checking the "minor edit" checkbox prevent Confluence from updating the modification date, perhaps a new checkbox is in order, one that, when checked, would prevent the modification date from updating. Maybe the checkbox could be labeled "do not update modification date"?
