code macro is totally screwed up when exported as PDF

      I am using Confluence for technical documentation so 

       and  {code:xml} macros are one of the most used markup elements for me. However, when I export space/page to PDF (also one of the very important features) the text surrounded by

      is garbaled. The new line are messed up and text falls out of the borders, that markup puts around the code.
