Steps to reproduce:

• Edit a page in the wiki markup editor
• Highlight some piece of text and click on the link editor
• In the link editor, click the "History" tab

Expected outcome:

• The "Alias" form field in the popup will contain the text you originally highlighted

Actual outcome:

• The "Alias" form field is now blank.

Potential impact:

• Inserting links using the popup will randomly cause highlighted text to vanish without the user noticing.
