      Overview

      • Currently, the Confluence Cloud REST API v2 Admin Key functionality is restricted to specific authentication methods and does not support OAuth 2.0 or service accounts. This prevents third-party applications using OAuth from performing administrative actions that require elevated "Admin Key" access.

      • We would like to extend the Admin Key functionality to support OAuth 2.0 (3LO) and Service Account endpoint to allow secure, delegated administrative access for modern integrations.
