Overview

• Currently, the Confluence Cloud REST API v2 Admin Key functionality is restricted to specific authentication methods and does not support OAuth 2.0 apps. This prevents third-party applications using OAuth from performing administrative actions that require elevated "Admin Key" access.

Current Process

• The Admin Key operations are currently only accessible via API Token or Connect apps, as documented in the The Confluence Cloud REST API.

Feature Request

• We would like to extend the Admin Key functionality to support OAuth 2.0 (3LO) apps to allow secure, delegated administrative access for modern integrations.
