Current behavior
In Confluence Cloud, Jira filter/table (Jira Issues) macros:
- Force the table to fit within the page width.
- Wrap or compress content when there are many columns.
- Do not show a horizontal scrollbar, so users cannot scroll right to see all fields (e.g. Comments).
This is platform behavior, not a config, permission, or browser issue.
Expected behavior
- When the table has more columns than available width, the macro should:
-
- Allow horizontal scrolling.
-
- Show a horizontal scrollbar (or equivalent responsive behavior).
-
- Let users see all selected Jira fields in a single table view.
Why it matters
- Customers use Jira macros in Confluence as reporting and operational dashboards.
- They need full column visibility (including tail columns like Comments/Notes) for daily reviews and decision‑making.
- Today they must:
-
- Remove or split columns across multiple macros, or
-
- Open the same filter directly in Jira, causing extra steps and context switching.
Request
Add support for horizontal scrolling in Jira filter/table (Jira Issues) macros in Confluence Cloud so users can reliably see all columns without truncation or forced wrapping.
