    Description

      Problem

Confluence Cloud currently truncates multi-line text fields from Jira when displayed using the new Jira Issues macro. This results in information being limited to a single line, potentially omitting valuable details.

      Suggested Solution

A potential enhancement could be to ensure the New Jira Issues macro in Confluence Cloud is capable of displaying all lines from a multi-line text field in Jira. This can be achieved by dynamically adjusting the row heights based on the length of the text.

      Why This Is Important

This improvement is critical to enhance user experience and efficiency within the Confluence Cloud platform. At present, users often have to navigate to Jira to view the full details of an issue, disrupting the workflow. This enhancement will ensure a more seamless integration between Confluence and Jira.

      Workaround

Currently, users can utilize the Jira Legacy Macro as a workaround. This allows them to view the full text from a multi-line custom field from Jira. However, this solution may not always be ideal due to the limitations of the legacy macro.
