Currently, when adding an attachment to a Confluence page using the new cloud editor, it is not possible to add the same attachment again on the same page without re-uploading it. This limitation significantly impacts our users’ workflow, as many need to reuse the same files or images multiple times within a single page.

Request:

1. Reuse Attachments on the Same Page:

• • Attachments that have already been uploaded to a Confluence page should be available in the “Add image/file” macro.

• • Users should be able to insert these existing attachments multiple times on the same page without needing to upload them again.

1. Search and Add Attachments from Other Pages:

• • Provide the ability to search for attachments from other Confluence pages.

• • Allow users to add these attachments to the current page directly, streamlining content creation and reducing redundant uploads.

Benefits:

• Improves efficiency for users who frequently reuse files and images.

• Reduces storage redundancy and clutter from duplicate uploads.

• Enhances the overall user experience in the Confluence cloud editor.
