Problem
Currently, Confluence Cloud databases do not provide the option to select multiple or alternate rows and cells for bulk editing.
Users are restricted to updating entire rows or columns, rather than specific cells, resulting in inefficiencies and limitations in database management.
Suggested Solution
Implement a feature in Confluence Cloud databases that allows users to select multiple or alternate rows and cells using standard selection methods (such as Ctrl+click or Shift+click).
This feature should enable users to apply bulk edits to the selected cells, such as updating data, formatting, or applying functions, without affecting unselected parts of the database.
Why This Is Important
Allowing users to select and edit multiple or alternate rows and cells would significantly enhance the usability and flexibility of Confluence Cloud databases. This feature would cater to users who need to make targeted updates, thereby improving their workflow and saving time.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
