Issue Summary
The customer is migrating to Jira Cloud and has set up a test server that is automatically connected to their Confluence Cloud. They are facing issues as the 'Create Jira Issue' feature only allows issue creation on the Jira Cloud test server, while they prefer to create issues on their Jira Data Center server. The customer has confirmed that the new feature has been replaced with the legacy feature, which does not meet their needs. The support team has acknowledged this limitation and is exploring potential solutions, including a feature request for enabling issue creation in Jira Data Center from Confluence Cloud.
Steps to Reproduce
- Connect Confluence Cloud to a Jira Cloud test server.
- Attempt to create a Jira issue from highlighted text on a Confluence page.
Expected Results
Issue creation works on both the Jira Cloud test server and Jira Data Center server.
Actual Results
The issue can only be created on the Jira Cloud test server, not on the Jira Data Center server. With Jira legacy macro, the issue type cannot be selected
