Issue Summary
In Confluence Cloud editor, the page experiences erratic jumping behavior when editing a page that includes the Table of Contents (TOC) macro. This issue occurs exclusively in the Safari browser and is not present in Chrome or Firefox. Removing the TOC macro resolves the issue.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Confluence Cloud in the Safari browser.
- Create or open a page with multiple headings.
- Insert the Table of Contents macro to the page.
- Begin editing the page content below the headings at the bottom or anywhere in between the page.
Expected Results
The page intermittently jumps or shifts position during editing, disrupting the editing process.
Actual Results
The page should remain stable during editing, with no unexpected jumps or shifts, regardless of the presence of the TOC macro.
The below exception is thrown in the xxxxxxx.log file:
Workaround
Remove the Table of Contents macro to prevent the page from jumping while editing in Safari.
OR
Trying using other browsers like Chrome or Firefox.
