Issue Summary
Embedding of links to another Confluence page does not work in the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Steps to Reproduce
- Using Firefox, navigate to a Confluence instance/space
- Create a, or locate an existing, Confluence page and copy its URL
- Create a, or navigate to an existing, Confluence page and paste the URL
- Change the link to an embed using the toolbar
- Publish the page and observe the Confluence page does not load
- Clicking the ‘Allow’ button results in an unauthorised view being shown
Expected Results
Should be able to preview the embedded link for another page.
Actual Results
Embedding of links to another Confluence page does not work in the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Workaround
Users can set their Firefox privacy settings to not block cookies, or set their settings to block "Cross-site tracking cookies" only. For instructions on how to access these settings, please see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/third-party-cookies-firefox-tracking-protection.
Users can also use another browser such as Google Chrome to view embedded links for other Confluence pages.
