Problem

Currently, Confluence Automation does not have the capability to send the entire content of a Confluence page in the body of an email.

• Users are limited to using smart values for page properties, which don't include the full page content.
• This limitation prevents users from automating the dissemination of full-page content via email, which could be crucial for various communication and documentation workflows.

Suggested Solution

Introduce a new smart value in Confluence Automation that allows users to include the entire content of a Confluence page in an email body.

This smart value should be easy to use and provide a smooth way to extract and format the page content for email distribution.

Why This Is Important

This can improve productivity by reducing the need for manual copying and pasting, help maintain consistency in communications, and ensure that all necessary information is shared promptly and accurately.

Workaround

An alternative would be to use Automation's Send web request action to access the REST API for Confluence , which would enable you to get the page's content returned as a smart value.
