Issue Summary

Tables in PDF export appear with unwanted shadows and extra lines, which are not present in the web view.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a Confluence page containing a table.
      2. Export the page as a PDF.
      3. Review the PDF export output.

      Expected Results

The table should appear in the PDF export without any additional shadows or extra lines, matching the visual appearance of the table in the web view.

      Actual Results

In the PDF export, the table is rendered with unexpected shadows and extra lines that do not appear in the web version. This affects the readability and presentation of the table in the PDF.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.

[CONFCLOUD-80335] Tables in PDF Export Display Shadows and Extra Lines

            Hi everyone,

This is Haibert from the Confluence team. This bug is fixed and I confirmed the functionality to be working as expected. It's not clear what's the line issue is, it would be great if you can create a new ticket with a reproduction of the lines issue.

            Sincerely,

The shadows on table edges seems to be fixed but the extra lines persists. Making a report that was previously 1 page now 2 pages.

Please work on this ASAP as it is affecting the the presentation of my projects status to all 8 of my clients and does not look professional. This is additional to the issue with the new Jira Issues widget pdf presentation that cuts off information both vertically and horizontally. PDF versions of reports are often sent to senior management who do not access Jira with the same frequency as the project teams, so the exposure and impact of this issue is high.

            Thank you

            Alison
