Problem
When adding a link to a Confluence page using the "/link" shortcut, users with a browser zoom level above 125% or those on smaller screens (e.g., 13-inch displays with a resolution of 1280×800 or lower) encounter display issues. The link macro pop-up becomes unresponsive and fails to show key options such as "Search or paste a link" and "Display text"(optional). This impacts users who rely on higher zoom or lower resolutions for accessibility.
Environment
- Confluence Cloud
- Browser with zoom level set above 125% or on a small screen (e.g., 13-inch, 1280×800 resolution or lower)
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a Confluence page.
- Set the browser zoom level above 125%, or use a 13-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 or lower.
- Use the "/link" shortcut to attempt to add a link.
(screenshots added)
Expected Results
The link macro pop-up should remain fully functional and display all options, including "Search or paste a link" and "Display text"(optional), regardless of zoom level or screen resolution.
Actual Results
At higher zoom levels or on smaller screens, the link macro pop-up becomes unresponsive, and the options "Search or paste a link" and "Display text" (optional) are not visible.
Workaround
Reduce the browser zoom level or font size, or increase the screen resolution to restore the pop-up’s functionality.
Notes
The macro should ideally incorporate some form of responsiveness or provide a scroll function to accommodate users who need higher zoom levels or lower screen resolution for accessibility reasons.
